Really bad cowgirl stand-off

Came down with a throat infection and had a hard time getting back to work. Read  some Alex Toth during the illness so I figured an action drawing would do the trick! The idea is nice but the inking is oh so so SO bad! There are a couple of things I keep learning (or rather never learn, but keep noticing) about brush inking — it takes a master to freestyle light (on clothes especially!) — and I’m no master.

The only ok part of this sketch.

Everything else also takes a master to freestyle when you ink with a brush. I’m a bit too eager to get on with it and don’t sketch hard enough. On the other hand you lose some spontinaity when you sketch too much…

Whats going on with his throat?

This might be the most boring post ever to accompany a totally awesome cowgirl stand-off! Hot pleasure boys, get out of the way, the women are shooting at eachother!
