Writing “I’m going to start posting on this blog again” is internet slang for “Hey, I just found the password for this old thing and thought I’d see if anyone’s still paying attention. But I’m not really gonna.” So I’m not going to write that, hoping I will. Since we last spoke I’ve been working on an up coming stand alone one-shot (that’s comics slang for a self contained comic mag) to be published in the spring. Much much more on that as it progresses! And I finally enrolled to second year of Graphics, specializing in Illustration. And this year the tutors actually expect us to perform and we’re learning stuff!

Here are some life drawings I did last (academic) year, after a two year absence. I love life drawing. It so rewarding as it gives you an immediate result of where you stand in your drawing. It’s not like illustrations that can be pampered and coloured and tweaked in infinity and where you don’t really know the end result until five minutes before (or after) deadline.
