So I’m also currently working on a graphic novel. The ink hasn’t hit the artboards just yet, but I’ve been busy designing characters, props, environments etc. And fine tuning the script with my co-creator. These are some of the sneak peaks I’ve been Instagramming:

Not the bloggiest of periods but I’m keeping myself busy. Eventually most of it will surely make it into my web presence rehaul the coming months or so, but until then it’s safer to follow me on twitter @janbielecki or on Instagram @janbiel.In the meantime I’m working on some book covers, doing the ground work for an upcoming graphic novel, and refining and fine tuning my illustration style. I don’t know if I’ve already posted this. It’s from last spring, but I just found it again and it goes to show how silly artist’s self deprication can be. I clearly remember something about this drawing bothering me. But I can’t tell you what for the life of me, because it’s pretty awesome if you ask me today! My Swedish comics publisher Kolik put out Corto Maltese in Ethiopia and asked me for a fan-art to go onto their blog. Being their inhouse objectifier of men, I did this. Has Corto Maltese ever been this sexy? Hot, muscular and juicy. Ok, now I’m just trying to get search engine hits…
